Strips and routes
Flights follow fixed routes. Sort the flight strips, spot the conflicts in time and hand over at the exit point.
Flights fly along fixed routes between the points A, B, C, D, M, N and S. Each flight has a flight strip listing its points in order, with an estimated time for each point (clock time, for example 1407). One minute in the exercise takes four seconds.
Your tasks
- Sort: a strip must always sit in the bay for the next point the flight will pass (highlighted in orange on the strip). New strips appear under New flights. Put them in the right bay before the flight enters.
- Move: when a flight passes a point, its next point changes. Move the strip to the new bay within two minutes.
- Conflicts: two flights at the same level must not come close to each other: not where routes cross, not on the same route and not in opposite directions. Change the level of one of them in time.
- Hand over: when a flight has passed its last point before the exit point, press Hand over on the strip before it leaves the map.
Controls
- Drag a strip to a bay. You can also click the strip and then the bay.
- Click the level (FL) on the strip to change level.
- Tip: compare the times. Two flights at the same level due over M within a minute of each other are a conflict. The same goes for two flights meeting on the same leg.
