What FEAST is
FEAST stands for First European Air Traffic Controller Selection Test. It is the test battery EUROCONTROL provides to air navigation service providers and training organisations that select trainee (ab initio) air traffic controllers.
According to EUROCONTROL, the selection has two parts. FEAST I is a set of cognitive tests plus an English listening and comprehension test called ELICIT, and takes 2.5 to 4 hours including breaks. FEAST II is one or two multitasking work samples, RADAR and sometimes MULTI-PASS, each lasting 1.5 to 2 hours. Spoken English is not tested in FEAST.
EUROCONTROL recommends taking FEAST only once. Each organisation sets its own pass mark, and EUROCONTROL does not own or release the results.

Remember digits and letters, forwards and backwards.

The list does not say which FEAST tests each organisation uses. Some large air navigation service providers are not on it, for example France’s DSNA and the UK’s NATS, and Germany’s DFS is listed only through DFS-Aviation Services.

What is the FEAST test?

Can I practise FEAST online for free?
Yes. The tests on this site are free and in the style of FEAST I and FEAST II. EUROCONTROL also has an official practice platform that covers almost all FEAST I tests but not FEAST II.
Can I take FEAST more than once?
EUROCONTROL recommends that candidates take FEAST only once, so it pays to arrive prepared.
What score do I need to pass FEAST?
There is no single pass mark. Each organisation sets its own, and EUROCONTROL does not own or release the results.
